Structured Support for Unstructured Cravings
At the Cookie Recovery Support Group, our programs are designed to help individuals cope with the emotional, psychological, and calendar-based fallout caused by exposure to award-winning coconut s’more cookies. Each program addresses a different phase of the Cookie Cycle™, offering guidance, community, and just enough hope to keep participants functional.
Participation in these programs does not guarantee cookie access.
🍪 Program 1: Initial Exposure Counseling (IEC)
For those who have “just had one” and are not okay.
This introductory program supports individuals who have recently encountered the coconut s’more cookie for the first time. Common symptoms include wide-eyed silence, unsolicited praise, and the immediate question, “So… when are you making these again?”
Focus areas include:
-
Processing the shock of unexpected excellence
-
Understanding that awards do not equal availability
-
Learning appropriate post-cookie communication (texts, emails, subtle hints)
📦 Program 2: Tin Separation Therapy (TST)
Because empty tins are harder than they look.
Designed for those navigating life after the tin is gone. This program helps participants work through the urge to check the tin “just in case,” even when they know it’s empty.
Participants learn to:
-
Accept the finality of the last cookie
-
Resist asking for “just one more batch”
-
Repurpose tins without emotional attachment (advanced track only)
📅 Program 3: Calendar Awareness & Boundary Training (CABT)
Strategic hope without excessive optimism.
This program helps members understand the limited and highly regulated release schedule of coconut s’more cookies. Emphasis is placed on recognizing legitimate opportunities (birthdays, major life events) versus wishful thinking (random weekends, vague cravings).
Curriculum includes:
-
Identifying authorized cookie-eligible dates
-
Avoiding excessive birthday proximity arguments
-
Managing disappointment with dignity
🎂 Program 4: Birthday Exception Management (BEM)
A controlled environment for legally recognized indulgence.
This program prepares participants for the rare but meaningful Birthday Exception, where cookies may reappear under controlled circumstances.
Topics covered:
-
Setting realistic expectations
-
Proper gratitude protocols
-
Understanding that birthdays do not roll over
Enrollment does not imply approval.
🧠 Program 5: Long-Term Coping & Nostalgia Management (LCNM)
For those who haven’t had the cookies in years… but still talk about them.
This advanced program is for individuals who have fully accepted that the cookies exist more as a memory than a menu item.
Outcomes include:
-
Healthy storytelling without escalation
-
Managing “remember when” conversations
-
Letting go… while never really letting go
⚠️ Important Program Disclosure

-
Increase cookie production
-
Move you up a list
